Aged 16 – 25 and homeless? YMCA Cornwall offers supported accommodation for young people.
We are here to help if you are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.
Our housing advice is free, confidential and independent. We offer advice to young men and women who find themselves homeless, sofa-surfing, rough sleeping, or need to leave home.
If you would like advice about accommodation, the first step is to see a housing advisor. Appointments can be made in person by visiting reception at YMCA Cornwall or calling 01736 334820.
Housing advice appointments are held on Wednesdays at:
YMCA Cornwall, International House, The Orchard, Alverton Road, Penzance TR18 4TE.
You can contact us directly or we accept referrals from other agencies.
YMCA Cornwall currently has a waiting list for our supported accommodation. The housing advice appointment acts as a gateway to our waiting list. After this initial interview you will be informed whether your circumstances meet our referral criteria.
Please note that our advice is a general guide to housing and benefits and not a full and authoritative statement of the law. We make every effort to make sure that the information we give is correct and up to date.
