YMCA Cornwall is the umbrella body for YMCA Penzance Backpackers Hostel, YMCA Penzance, YMCA Redruth and YMCA Mullion. YMCA Cornwall is an independent charity, company limited by guarantee, and is part of an International Christian Movement which recognises the equal value of all people. YMCA Penzance and the YMCA Penzance Backpackers Hostel are situated in a residential area just on the edge of Penzance town centre, in the west of Cornwall. The YMCA site is within easy walking distance of major transport links. YMCA Penzance provides a range of short and long-term young persons accommodation and housing advice, youth training, youth clubs and a variety of meeting, conference room and sports hall hire.
YMCA Mullion sits in the heart of the Mullion village at the remote end of the Lizard peninsular, providing a range of high quality Youth learning and activity programmes, a Day Nursery and small business units.
YMCA Redruth close to the bus and train station, offers a range of high quality Youth learning activities, advice services and youth counselling.
YMCA Camborne consists of a group of YMCA supported move-on residential units for young people who have been through emergency accommodation and are now ready to take on their first tenancy.
